Accepting What We Cannot Change About The Death Of A Loved One

hmm balance eew God knows we would prefer it if everyone would be instantly healed.  .  .

I know someone that was born in a barn

He was born in a barn.

I know someone that was born in a barn.

I know someone that was born in a barn.  He was born in a Bethlehem barn. A group from heaven praised God on the day of his birth.

He was raised by a carpenter, He healed the sick, He gave life to the dead, and He died for our sins.

God didn’t let His body stay in the grave. Jesus is at the right hand of God interceding for us.

He is the Son of God, the King of the Jews, and He is the Bright Morning Star.

Immanuel means God with us.

Many people are angry about churches that teach that a person must tithe in order to be blessed. It made me think of the story about the sons of Eli. Look what it says in I Samuel 2:12-17 about Eli’s wicked sons:
12 Eli’s sons were scoundrels; they had no regard for the Lord. 13 Now it was the practice of the priests that, whenever any of the people offered a sacrifice, the priest’s servant would come with a three-pronged fork in his hand while the meat was being boiled 14 and would plunge the fork into the pan or kettle or caldron or pot. Whatever the fork brought up the priest would take for himself. This is how they treated all the Israelites who came to Shiloh. 15 But even before the fat was burned, the priest’s servant would come and say to the person who was sacrificing, “Give the priest some meat to roast; he won’t accept boiled meat from you, but only raw.”

16 If the person said to him, “Let the fat be burned first, and then take whatever you want,” the servant would answer, “No, hand it over now; if you don’t, I’ll take it by force.”

17 This sin of the young men was very great in the Lord’s sight, for they were treating the Lord’s offering with contempt.

——————-Whenever a priest treats an offering to the Lord with contempt the Lord sees and knows what is being done. God will hold people accountable for wrong doing. We are to pray that God will show us how to be good stewards of what God has given to us. Let us be led by the Spirit of God in our giving. We do need to warn other people if we feel a certain teacher/preacher is telling people to give to them with wrong motives. It is absolutely wrong for a preacher to tell people they can basically buy blessings from God if they are giving 10% or any amount of money. You cannot buy the blessings of God because they are not for sale. Biblical thoughts shared by     Elizabeth Evans Wolfe FilledWithTruth.Com
