1980 – My family moved to Florida. My husband and I needed furniture after we found our apartment in Sarasota. It wasn’t the first time we had moved. Most of the time we would move leaving personal items behind us. God has always been faithful to restore what the locusts have eaten. We felt God called us to that territory.
I found an advertisement for a double sized bed and mattress. The sellers were asking $25 for the items. I made a call. We purchased that old bedset and slept on it for a a number of years.
The man that sold us the bed let us know that his Christian mother had been sleeping in the bed and she prayed many prayers in the bed.
I believe that bed was anointed by the Lord because of the prayers of that woman.
I heard from God many times when I would be resting on that bed.
Have you ever heard of the prayer cloths written about in the Bible? I also received a healing in my body after I spent years sleeping in that bed. Praise to God for the wonderful and miraculous things he performs.
God is alive and he is among us.
Acts 19:11-12 (NIV),
“God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them.”
Men are waxing worse as the days grow shorter but
PRAISE BE TO GOD
we don’t walk alone.
God is with us.
It sounds as though our Comforter & Teacher (Jesus & the Holy Spirit of God) have taught us the same lessons! He is using the same Words to minister to us, isn’t he?
I spent time writing to some Christian friends. When my friends sent messages back to me I realized that they have gone through similar things I have experienced and they have learned some of the same lessons I’ve learned. Doesn’t it make sense that we have matching knowledge since we have been taught by the same instructor and we have been reading words from the exact same book?

8 Finally, all of you, be like-minded and show sympathy, love, compassion, and humility to and for each other—
Philippians 2:2 New International Version (NIV)
2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.
“Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.
And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.”,
