Heaven Will Be More Beautiful Than Any Beauty We See Here On Earth

I sent a message to a friend today.  This friend is one of  the many friends I know that has suffered the loss of a loved one.

Pain hit my heart when I thought about the sorrow I know she must still have some times when she remembers that her dear loved one is no longer on this earth.

I wrote to her telling her what went through my mind.  May those who feel that pain be comforted knowing that heaven will be more beautiful than any beauty we see here on this earth.

There will be more peace in the Holy City than the peace that is known when you take a vacation in the mountains to get away from the humdrum things offered in your daily life.

Every now and then I feel the pain that some times comes when we think of the sweet ones who have gone to see Jesus before we have.  We are not unhappy for them, are we?  We just miss them so very much it hurts to be separated from them.

I hope this does not bring tears to people unless their  hearts need to release those tears that God will surely keep in a bottle.

I miss some dear ones I love, too.  When I would miss Jeff Wolfe I would be reminded that if it hurts this much to be separated from one I love then I would surely hurt even more if I were to be separated from our God who is love.

I have written about those feelings before.  Maybe today’s sadness that came upon me when I thought of  a sweet one that has left us will be used by God to touch hearts in a special way again.

God is able to turn our sorrows into joy.

He can revive us.

He is more than able to heal the pain that hit us yesterday.

He can also heal the hurt we feel today.

The future holds blessings for those who believe.

God’s Word Tells Us That Life Is A Gift From God

God’s Word teaches us that God’s gracious gift is life.

Eternal life comes from having faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

John 14:6 (KJV),

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Because I know without a doubt that God gives life here and in the hereafter I declare:

“God’s gracious gift is life itself.”  ~ Elizabeth Evans Wolfe

Accepting What We Cannot Change About The Death Of A Loved One

hmm balance eew God knows we would prefer it if everyone would be instantly healed.  .  .

I know someone that was born in a barn

He was born in a barn.

I know someone that was born in a barn.

I know someone that was born in a barn.  He was born in a Bethlehem barn. A group from heaven praised God on the day of his birth.

He was raised by a carpenter, He healed the sick, He gave life to the dead, and He died for our sins.

God didn’t let His body stay in the grave. Jesus is at the right hand of God interceding for us.

He is the Son of God, the King of the Jews, and He is the Bright Morning Star.

Immanuel means God with us.

The Dead In Christ Shall Rise

Dead In Christ Shall Rise

If God is for us who can be against us?

The dead in Christ shall rise.

God will not fail us or forsake us.

Wait upon the Lord.

The power of death does not have a permanent sting.

What Can You Take To Heaven?

Revelation 21

King James Version (KJV)21 “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.

10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.

14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.

16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.

17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.

18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.

19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;

20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.

21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.”

Don’t Let satan Rob Your Joy

My daughter, Beth, reminded me that we should not leave our joy behind when it’s time to move. I just sold a home that I lived in for over a decade. It was a brand new home when I bought it and it was quite large. I had the beloved 3 car …garage. It was a special place. Someone said a negative thing to me when they found out I got a contract to sell that home. They said, “Oh! You are going to miss this home.” They didn’t mean any harm. They just didn’t know that my joy wasn’t going to stay with the home. As a matter of fact the home was a pleasant home but IT was not responsible for giving me joy. Nothing we have this side of heaven is going to leave with us when we die. We won’t be taking gold, silver, or treasures of any kind with us when our life on earth is over. Don’t let the enemy mislead you by making you think things of this earth will give you lasting pleasure. Everlasting life and joy comes from God. God’s rich blessings to you all. Ponder on these things. Pray about them. Keep a smile on your face and the love of Jesus flowing through your hearts, Elizabeth Evans Wolfe. 2013
