Questions For The Believers

Do you understand where you have strayed?

Can you perceive it?

I believe the Lord wants His people to assimilate these truths absorbing the reality of the need for those who call Him Lord to change.

Many ask how they could change or why they have a need to change. Isn’t it everyone else that walks in error?

Aren’t the nonbelievers the ones we should be most concerned about?

I believe the answer to that question lies within each believer.

There is room for improvement in your life.

If you have not crucified the flesh then you are in need or reconstruction.

If you still have moments of thinking it’s okay to practice doing things that are clearly against God then you are walking in error.

It is known that you call HIM LORD OF ALL but have you made HIM LORD OF YOUR LIFE?

Did you shirk your responsibility? Did you do all that God has called you to do? Did you make anything more important to you than God?

Have you been walking in faith?
Remember without faith it is impossible to please God.

Have you been drinking from your own cistern? Have you neglected the wife of your youth?

Did you forsake your children? Are you teaching your children about God? Have you made amends to those you have harmed?

Do you walk in truth? Have you been walking on the straight and narrow path leading a blameless life? Do you practice using tricks of the trade in your business practices?

Do you realize that trickery and deceit is not from God?

You will be held accountable for every idle word spoken.  God’s Word clearly shows that he does not want His people to walk in sin.  God does not want a Godly man to walk on the fenceline condoning the sins of his fellow man.

Have you spoken lies against a fellow worker, a neighbor, or anyone else?

Do you have an unconfessed sin that needs to be exposed? Will you finally repent and change?

Many are called but few are chosen. Are you sincerely doing all God has called you to do?

Did you let the cares of this world become more important than taking time to draw close to God?

Have you allowed your tools to be stolen? Did you let the enemy steal things that God wants you to use?

Did you let other people take care of the tasks that God intended you to accomplish?

Are you quick to get angry when another man sins while you neglect to see the things that you do that are wrong?

It would be good for you to stop everything that you are doing that you want to do so you can readily find what God wants you to do.

Repent and change now for the time is short.

Please also read Galatians Chapter 5 especially verses 13-26, “13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.”
