Be Kind & Tender Hearted & Forgive One Another

As the Shepherd comforts his sheep we should comfort one another.

Yesterday I read about how the Good Shepherd cares for his sheep.

Next I will write more thoughts that went through my mind after I wrote about the things I read in Isaiah 40:10-11.

I felt as though the Lord was showing me how he watches over the little ones and the ones who carry the little ones.
I think I first thought about pregnant women who are carrying the child in their womb then I thought of the women that care for their little ones.
Of course, the good Lord cares about men and women that are caring for their children but women are weaker than men.  It is written in God’s Word that women are weaker.  [ 1 Peter 3:7,  “Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.” ] Oh – I should make a new post after this that simply says,  “MEN,  Do you want ready answers to your prayers?  THEN LOVE YOUR WIVES AND TREAT THEM WITH RESPECT.”  I should add the passage from 1 Peter 3:7 in the next post, too.  Many men know about the Scriptures before verse 7 but they seem to forget verse 7.  The husband and the wife will be blessed if the man gets ready answers to his Godly prayers.
Since the Lord gives us an example in his word of how the Shepherd watches over the little ones and he gently cares for & leads the ones that have young I believe it’s a good way for us to recall (especially for men to recall) that women and children are to be gently cared for.

Jesus is Gentle and Kind.  He tells us all that we are to be kind and tender hearted.  People that are kind and those who have tender hearts do not intentionally harm another person.  We are also told to forgive one another. [ Ephesians 4:32,

KJV, “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” ]
It may not always be easy to change but it is vital.  A pastor told me that a man who refuses to change is a man that does not fear God.  We know that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.  If a man is wise he will give the Lord reverential fear and respect.  A man that fears God will obey the Word of the Lord.
