Many years ago God allowed me to be blessed to hear a pastor’s wife share the words about rebellion being a form of witchcraft.
Those words changed my life. I learned to hate rebellion, all forms of witchcraft, stubborn ways, and manipulation.
Do you know how many people still allow the devil to control them when he makes them think that getting their own way is the best thing to do?
Being stubborn and getting your own way as much as possible is not a blessing. Love does not demand its own way. People that demand their own way all the time are usually ugly spirited people.
Most people that enjoy life do not like being around people like that.
The Word from 1 Samuel 15:22-23 can change your life.
I wrote these words to a friend today:
I know of one person that refuses to do certain things and she actually gets an angry countenance if other people choose to live in a different way than the way she thinks you should live. If she thinks women should only wear dresses to church or if she thinks that a person should only read from the King James Version of the Bible then she believes everyone should be just like her if they want to be perfect. This type of thinking is sad. The rules that bind people are man made rules.
She does have a problem with a controlling spirit. There are a lot of people that have that manipulation in their lives.
I give God praise because of the way he teaches us what is right and what is wrong.
He is able to send forth deliverance from evil.
I can only guess that some people like their old stubborn ways.
Let us pray today for those we know who show forth a stubborn spirit. It is like a spirit of witchcraft.
Words from 1 Samuel 15 →
22 And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
